AUG Hellas’ Principal Chemical Engineer, Dr. Eric Morris, attended the Ontario Water Worker Association’s (OWWA) Annual Conference & Trade Show. The OWWA Annual Conference represents the largest of its kind in Canada for water and waste water workers, policy makers, training institutions, technology companies, and researchers. Working together with AUG’s long-term collaborator, the Dryden Water Training Center, Dr. Morris showcased the proven benefits and successful cases of applying onsite water analysis technologies to detect, predict, and prevent water quality incidents. A huge demand for fast, consistent and cost-effective water testing tools to detect bacterial pathogens, especially in field applications, was clearly identified during this event through the feedback from the water operators at all levels. The outcome of the WaterSpy project will pose a definite solution that addresses to this growing demand.
